Hello!
Megan is a freelance illustrator and artist, based in West Sussex, UK.
She graduated with a First-Class Honours degree in Illustration at The University for the Creative Arts, Farnham in 2022.
Her work is very much inspired by animals and being outside in nature. With a passion for wildlife conservation, Megan also hopes her work showcases the beauty of wild places and the wildlife found within.
Other areas of interest include science, wellbeing, music and travel.
Megan’s creative process is predominantly digital, but ideas are often explored in sketchbooks with a variety of materials, including pencils, pens, inks and watercolours.
Aside from digital work, painting with gouache, experimenting with collage, and crocheting are enjoyed too.

I asked Megan to create a desk illustration of my friend’s cat, Oreo, as a gift for when she left her job. Even though Oreo had passed away, I really wanted her to have a special way to keep his memory with her in her new office. My friend absolutely loved it. Megan has a wonderful way of bringing a portrait to life and she captured Oreo’s spirit perfectly. It’s such a beautiful, high-quality tribute and made for a really touching gift.
