Grasslands Near and Far

A project where an informative activity booklet was designed to teach children about the importance of grasslands.

After an introduction to the African Savannah, children are given an explanation about the risks wildlife face when competing for resources with humans. They were then encouraged to understand how they could use this information to help conserve local grasslands and continue making a difference through their actions. Activities to help engage children with what they had learnt included colouring, stickers, baking, a game with buildable playing pieces and other paper crafts.
